Placing and confirming an order

All orders placed online will automatically receive an order confirmation from our online ordering system.


If you have no access to our online system, please place your order by email to the official Tastes Catering ‘orders’ email address followed by a phone call to ensure we have received it . Orders are not official until you receive email confirmation from us.


Last orders


Online orders must be placed before 5.30pm on the business day before delivery to guarantee your chosen order.


Please note that our free delivery service is available for deliveries in central London as designated by Tastes Catering and on a first come first serve basis. The earlier you place your order the more likely you are to get your preferred delivery slot.


Orders placed after 5.30pm cannot be guaranteed for next day delivery. Please contact our office in the morning from 8.30am and we will advise order availability and delivery time.


Changing an existing order


Changes to bookings online are to be made by deleting the original order and replacing it with a new one. The cut off time for this is 5.30pm on the business day before delivery day.


Cancelling an order


For online orders under £1,000, we require notice by 5.30pm on the business day before delivery day.


All cancellations are to be completed on line or by if email to the Tastes Catering ‘orders’ email address by 5.30pm on the business day before delivery.


Please be aware that all food is prepared to order so if you are unable to cancel in time, you will be subject to a full charge.

Above days do not include Bank Holidays. Add one business day per Bank Holiday during relevant period.

Cancellation should be accepted by 11.00am by phone or by email to orders@tastescatering.com
This is the only email to send cancellations to.

For Saturday/Sunday Deliveries cancellation period will be specified on quote.


Deliveries


All orders will be delivered to the main reception area of your company or to a mutually agreed area and a signature will be required for proof of complete order and delivery time


Prices & Menus


All our menu prices exclude VAT. VAT will be charged in keeping with current regulations.

Payment Terms


Our payment terms are strictly net - 28 days from date of invoice. Payments received after this period will incur a surcharge on all of the unpaid amount at a compound rate of 2.5% per month above Nat West base rate


Any queries arising from our invoice must be communicated to Tastes Catering within 5 working days of receipt. These should not affect payment of the balance in question


Account facilities are available for Tastes clients subject to approval


Full payment will be required in advance from all clients using Tastes Catering for the first time. Credit Card payments will attract a transaction fee of £5.00 +VAT per transaction, Debit Card payments will not attract a fee.


Upon confirmation of a booking in excess of £1000.00 we will require a 75% deposit. If the required deposit is not received by the agreed date then Tastes Catering reserve the right to cancel the booking


All deposits are non-refundable


Loss and Damage


Any loss or damage to property or equipment be they hired by the client or otherwise will be the responsibility of the client and the replacement costs will be invoiced in full


All equipment must be returned clean and dry or otherwise will be charged a cleaning charge. For up to 50 guests the charge will be £15.00 and £60.00 for numbers in excess of 50. Equipment must be ready for collection no later than one day after the function. If failure to do this causes an extra journey or extra work for our staff, an additional fee will be payable by the client
